National Energy Regulatory Council decided that BDR Thermea Group B.V modules "eVita" should not be classified as an emerging technology anymore in Lithuania and withdraws those BDR Thermea Group B.V modules "eVita" as an emerging technology according to Art 70(3) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of 14 April 2016 establishing a network code on requirements for grid connection of generators.
On 9th May 2019 Baltic National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) discussed the status of the commercial availability of the "eVita" classified as the emerging technology in the Baltic synchronous area and agreed to withdraw the BDR Thermea Group B.V module "eVita" as an emerging technology in Baltic synchronous area. The ground for this decision was that the last data on module sales was provided on September 16 2018 where nothing was sold and no more sales data was given to Baltic NRAs, which is required according to Article 70(1) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of 14 April 2016.
