National Energy Regulatory Council (NERC), submits for public consultation a DRAFT on Capacity Auctions regulations, which was prepared by the electricity transmission system operator AB Litgrid. Comments and suggestions are welcomed by 20 July (inclusive).
The draft of Capacity Auctions regulations has been prepared taking into account the amendments to the Law on Electricity that had entered into force July 1 2020 and set the rules for the implementation of the Capacity mechanism in Lithuania.
The draft regulation of Capacity Auctions regulations concerns in particular:
- rights and obligations of capacity market participants;
- organization and course of general certification;
- conditions and manner of conducting capacity auctions;
- the scope of information contained in the capacity market register;
After a public consultation with market participants, NERC will approve the regulations on capacity auctions.
