Representatives of the NCC shared their experience on the support schemes for renewable energy sources

​In March 2018, in Budapest, a meeting of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) project was held to discuss support schemes for renewable energy sources of the countries, their implementation and good practices as well as Net metering mechanisms. The project was implemented according to the agreement between the Lithuanian, Hungarian and Armenian energy regulators and ERRA, of the 6th of December, 2017.

Representatives of the NCC Rimgailė Baliūnaitė, Head of the Electricity Division of the Gas and Electricity Department, and Lina Milkevičiūtė, Advisor of the Electricity Division, introduced the best practice in Lithuania and shared information on Law on Energy from Renewable Sources and its implementation, net metering mechanism as well as provisions on National Energy Independence Strategy draft.
