National
Energy Regulatory Council (hereinafter – Council) has published a document for
the public consultation on the concept for capacity mechanism auction price and
bid cap calculation. Council has prepared this document taking into account the
foreseen capacity mechanism measure in Lithuania proposed by the Ministry of
Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
This public
consultation was published to allow market participants to familiarize
themselves with foreseen key principles of the Lithuanian capacity mechanism
auction price and bid cap calculation and to comment on them. After assessing the comments and suggestions
from stakeholders, Council will prepare and publish for public consultation a
draft methodology for setting the maximum price.
Comments
